Have a favorite quote?
In keeping with the theme of this blog, here's one by C. S. Lewis:
"You don't have a soul. You are a Soul. You have a body."
I try to remember this especially when I meet people who . . . well . . . may not be so . . . friendly. Lord, help me to see past the sinful, mortal body (we're all sinners!), deep into the aching soul for whom you were crucified, and with whom you desire fellowship for eternity.

I have so many favorite quotes it's ridiculous. Usually you can find me revelling in C.S. Lewis, Spurgeon, Tozer and the occasional Mark Twain... But today, I'm going with John Piper's mission statement: "God is most glorified in me when I am most satisfied in Him."
