Serving the Best Master

If you were a servant, would you enjoy working for someone foolish, lazy, selfish, and mean? Not me! Yet this is the type of master I served, because I made my master me.

Lately, the Bible verse from 1 Corinthians has been echoing in my head:

"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."

I have to constantly remind myself that I do not belong to my wretched former master. I've been purchased by the divine blood of the One who wants the best for me.

What's the deal? I go away for a week and you post a million times! Great post. :)

Yes, great post and verse.
All these images work so well with your entries, too. Even though I shot this one during our Caribbean vacation, it still looks mysterious and almost Babylonian to me!

Yeah, Dot, it is a wild shot, isn't it? I knew you wouldn't mind me using that pic. I went through dozens of photos, but nothing else fit.
