If you were a servant, would you enjoy working for someone foolish, lazy, selfish, and mean? Not me! Yet this is the type of master I served, because I made my master me.Lately, the Bible verse from 1 Corinthians has been echoing in my head:
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
I have to constantly remind myself that I do not belong to my wretched former master. I've been purchased by the divine blood of the One who wants the best for me.
